Covid-19/France: Olympique de Marseille presents a series of initiatives during the pandemic

Financial support for hospitals in Marseille (FRA), delivery of food supplies to the Food Bank, provision of the club's facilities, a thank-you video and illumination of the Orange Vélodrome (67,354 capacity) in tribute to healthcare workers... these are the main initiatives of Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Conforama) in the fight against Covid-19 (see below), at a time when the Coronavirus pandemic has already caused the death of more than 5,380 people in France (as of 03/04/2020).

"As the most challenging days approach with the peak of the pandemic, efforts for greater solidarity and unity are more necessary than ever. After having urgently managed the sports organisation of the club in the face of the lockdown, Olympique de Marseille's management has been working for several days on how the club and its facilities can be useful in these times of crisis," said the French club on 31/03/2020.
