Covid-19: ACF Fiorentina fundraiser for hospitals in Florence (Italy) exceeds €750,000

"We have exceeded €750,000 in donations thanks to your help," announced ACF Fiorentina (Serie A TIM) on 01/04/2020. The club launched the "Forza e Cuore" (Strength and Heart) fundraising campaign on the crowdfunding platform GoFundMe in order to help fight the Coronavirus pandemic on 18/03/2020. Donations will be made to the Careggi Foundation and the Santa Maria Nuova Onlus Foundation, whose mission is to provide financial support to Florence's main hospitals (ITA) in the face of the health crisis.

"The club's goal is to reach a minimum of €500,000. ACF president Rocco Commisso, his wife and son have launched the collection by paying the sum of €250,000," said Fiorentina on 18/03/2020, which is encouraging the club's managers, players, employees, sponsors, partners and fans to take part in the fundraiser.
