"Health comes first! We all wish that we could have football tomorrow but unfortunately it's not possible and nobody in the world today knows when we will be able to play like before," said Gianni Infantino (ITA-SUI), president of FIFA, via a video conference during the 72nd CONMEBOL Congress, on 02/04/2020.

"It is a pleasure to be with you, but also a great sadness to join you in this way, by video conference. But this is the current situation, we live in very complicated times. This virus has shown us how small and vulnerable we are..." underlines the president of the International Federation, at a time when the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has already claimed the lives of more than 54,000 people worldwide as of 03/04/2020.
