Covid-19: Asics (JPN) presents three new shoes models using virtual reality

The Japanese equipment manufacturer Asics, has decided to use virtual reality to unveil three new footwear models, during the current lockdown period due to Covid-19, announced the brand on 29/03/2020.

The Metaracer is Asics' most advanced distance racing shoe yet, with energy-saving Guidesole technology combined with a stabilising carbon plate. The Metasprint is Asics' spikeless track shoe; lighter than most sprinting footwear, its honeycomb sole provides more traction and transfers power in between each stride for increased speed. The Metarise is a revolutionary volleyball shoe designed for the attack which gives players an extra 3% lift for higher jumps," said the Japanese brand.

The Metasprint athletics shoe will be available in stores and via the brand's online shop from 17/04/2020 at a price of €300. The other two models (Metaracer and Metarise) will be sold at €200. The Metarise volleyball shoe will be available from 12/06/2020 and the Metaracer running shoe from 26/06/2020.
