"Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama) and the PSG Foundation launch the #PSGengagé fundraising platform for healthcare professionals and the most vulnerable," announced the French club on 08/04/2020.

"The club has set up a dedicated fundraising platform to support healthcare professionals in Greater Paris hospitals, Secours Populaire Français volunteers and beneficiaries throughout France, and those of Action Against Hunger in France and abroad (see below)," said the club, adding that depending on the amount raised, it will be able to "support other projects related to the fight against the Coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic."

"Paris Saint-Germain has already made an initial donation of €100,000 to Secours Populaire Français as well as selling 1,500 'Tous Unis' (All Together) special PSG jerseys raising €217,500 for Greater Paris University Hospitals, providing support and comfort to front-line carers during the health crisis," added the 2018-19 French champions, while Covid-19 has claimed the lives of more than 10,800 people in France as of 09/04/2020.
