Serie A TIM: Parma Calcio donates €100,000 from non-refunded tickets to a local hospital

Parma Calcio 1913 (Serie A TIM) has donated €100,000 to the Maggiore Hospital in Parma (Emilia-Romagna, ITA), a sum that corresponds to part of the ticket revenue for the game versus SPAL 2013 (0-1), Matchday 26 of the 2019-20 Serie A TIM) played behind closed doors on 08/03/2020 due to the risk of the spread of Covid-19, for which the holders of tickets or season tickets did not ask the club for a refund, announced the club on 03/04/2020.

As part of its campaign entitled "The Strongest Team in Parma", in reference to the health workers who face the health crisis on a daily basis, Parma Calcio launched a fund-raising campaign on 03/03/2020 aimed at sponsors, companies, supporters and citizens to help the Maggiore Hospital. More than €110,000, including €25,000 directly from the club, hs already been collected (as of 09/04/2020).
