Ligue 1 TV rights: Mediapro's announcement "is good news" (Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Paris Saint-Germain)

"Mediapro's confirmation that it will meet its commitments for next season is very good news. We are all working to ensure that the best conditions are in place to make next season a win-win agreement for everyone. Their proposal to broadcast the last two months of the championship is even better news and we should explore it," declared Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, president of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama) and of beIN Media Group, to the French sports daily L'Equipe, in reaction to the comments made by Jaume Roures (below), president of Mediapro, on 08/04/2020:

"This decision (by Canal+ and beIN Sports not to pay their April installments for the 2019-20 Ligue 1 Conforama TV rights) is wrong for two reasons. The first is that, at the very least, there are matches that have already been broadcast that have not been paid for. In the current situation, we need to make an effort.
