Covid-19: an "fully virtual" NFL (National Football League) Draft from 23 to 25/04/2020

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 85^th edition of the NFL Draft, a major annual event that brings together the 32 franchises of the league to select new players, will be "fully virtual" from 23 to 25/04/2020, announced the North American football league on 07/04/2020.

"The league also is expected to have one that will be a dress rehearsal of sorts as the teams prepare for the virtual draft. The mock draft, Pelissero said, would come in addition to multiple system checks with many teams expected to have their general manager's houses as the hub of their respective drafts. The checks are designed to make sure 'everyone is up to speed' before the draft," said the NFL.
