FC Barcelona: 3 new vice-presidents appointed and legal action against Emili Rousaud (former VP)

"At the proposal of the president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, the board of directors have approved the appointment of Jordi Moix, as economic and assets vice-president; Pau Vilanova, as institutional vice-president; Oriol Tomàs, as vice-president of the commercial area; Marta Plana, as secretary of the board of directors; and David Bellver, as treasurer," announced FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) after a meeting of its executive committee via videoconference on 13/04/2020.

These changes in FC Barcelona's organisational structure come following the resignation of six members of the Catalan club's board of directors on 10/04/2020. Emili Rousaud, Enrique Tombas, Silvio Elias, Maria Teixidor, Josep Pont and Jordi Clasamiglia resigned jointly, stating "we have arrived at this point because we cannot reverse the way the club is managed in the face of important challenges in the future, especially in the post-pandemic era."
