eSports: BMW becomes a partner of 5 organisations (G2 Esports, T1, Fnatic, Cloud 9, FanPlus Phoenix)

BMW has strengthened its commitment to eSports by becoming a partner of G2 Esports (ESP-GER), T1 (KOR), Fnatic (ENG), Cloud 9 (USA) and FanPlus Phoenix (CHN), "five of the world's leading teams under the mottoes 'United in Rivalry' and 'United at Home'," announced the German manufacturer on 16/04/2020. For Cloud 9, this is an extension of the partnership, since the BMW and the American organisation have been linked since 2019.

BMW thus becomes a shirt sponsor for each of the organisations. "The BMW brand is currently engaged in a major expansion of its involvement in the world of computer, online and simulation games (eSports), a field that's been continuously growing in popularity, especially among the next-generation target group. To firmly establish itself as a new major player in eSports, BMW will from now on partner five of the world's top eSports organisations," said BMW.
