Covid-19: Inter Milan (Serie A TIM) and Suning donate one million masks to the Italian authorities

FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM) and the Chinese multinational company Suning, owner of the club, are making an additional donation of one million masks to the Italian civil protection, as part of the fight against the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, according to the Milanese club on 16/04/2020.

"An initial 200,000 masks are already in Italy and in the process of being distributed to all Italian regions. The remaining masks will be shipped in batches in coming weeks, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Beijing (CHN). The donation represents a significant new measure designed to support Italy and joins a range of initiatives unveiled by the club as part of #TogetherAsATeam," said the Italian club.

Inter Milan had already donated 300,000 masks and other health products (protective clothing, disinfectants, etc.) to the Italian Civil Defence on 12/03/2020.

As Italy then became one of the main hotbeds of what became a pandemic, Inter then multiplied its actions on Italian territory, raising €658,000 through its global crowdfunding campaign which ended on 24/03/2020. The…
