2.Bundesliga: congstar (telecommunications) extends as FC St. Pauli's main shirt sponsor (2020-2022)

congstar, a telecommunications operator based in Cologne (GER), has extended as partner and main shirt sponsor FC St. Pauli (2.Bundesliga) for an additional two seasons (2020-2022), announced the German club on 17/04/2020.

congstar continues to benefit from the status of main partner, the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of FC St. Pauli. As part of the agreement, the Deutsche Telekom subsidiary specialised in mobile and internet discounts will pay €1.8m annually to FC St. Pauli, according to German media reports on 17/04/2020. congstar has been the main shirt sponsor of the Hamburg-based club since 2014-15. The brand was also the main shirt sponsor of FC St. Pauli for the 2007-2009 period.

congstar will continue to be the main shirt sponsor of the German club's eSports team. The telecommunications operator also has a box at the Millerntor-Stadion (29,546 capacity), where St. Pauli Esports trains and plays its matches.
