Covid-19: FC Girondins de Bordeaux (Ligue 1 Conforama) donates food to the Foot Citoyen association

FC Girondins de Bordeaux is providing basic food items (pasta, rice, cans, fruit, dairy products ...) for the benefit of the Foot Citoyen association, announced the French club on 17/04/2020. This new initiative comes after the implementation of several initiatives aimed at healthcare personnel (see below), in response to the emergency situation linked to the Covid-19 pandemic, which has already claimed the lives of more than 19,500 people in France, as of 20/04/2020.

"Since September 2019, the Girondins and the association Ovale Citoyen, a social and supportive rugby club, have forged a partnership by launching the Foot Citoyen programme.
