Cycling: Giro d'Italia Virtual presented by Enel (energy) with seven stages from 18/04 to 10/05/2020

The Giro d'Italia Virtual (Virtual Tour of Italy) "will see riders take to their smart trainers twice per week to tackle 7 virtual stages in aid of the Italian Red Cross" from 18/04 to 10/05/2020, announced the sport and media company RCS Sport, organiser of Italy's main cycling events, on 16/04/2020.

"Five UCI World Tour men's teams (Astana Pro Team, Team Bahrain-Mclaren, Movistar Team, Team Jumbo - Visma) and the men’s Italian national cycling squad will compete in the virtual Corsa Rosa alongside a host of ex-pro legends and cycling enthusiasts from across the world. The 'Pink Race' will also see 3 UCI women's teams (Trek-Segafredo, Movistar Team Women, Astana Women's Team) and the women’s Italian national cycling squad compete," said RCS Sport.

The Giro d'Italia Virtual was created in collaboration with Enel (energy), the official presentation partner of the event, Garmin Edge (GPS) and Tacx (home trainer).
