Premier League: Arsenal FC launches an official account on the Chinese social network TikTok

Arsenal FC (Premier League) has launched an official account on the Chinese video-sharing platform TikTok, announced the club on 15/04/2020, which "will give fans exclusive access to first-team stars, behind-the-scenes content, challenges and exclusive mini-series, as well as memorable goals and celebrations."

"It's a great opportunity to reach a new and younger audience and, with our fans hungry for interaction and entertainment in these unprecedented times, we feel it's a good time to get started. We've been very encouraged by our players' enthusiasm to get involved, and with their help we're creating content that really embraces the unique nature of TikTok," said Chris Harris, managing editor at Arsenal Digital, while the club already has more than 40,400 followers as of 22/04/2020.

Arsenal are the 12^th Premier League club to launch an official TikTok account. Manchester United FC, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, Burnley FC, Newcastle United FC, Brighton & Hove Albion FC, Aston Villa FC and Norwich City FC are the eight clubs that do not have one, as of 22/04/2020.
