"All committed to our industry! is the motto of the LFP and the main employers' and employees' unions in French professional football (Première Ligue, UCPF, UNECATEF, UNFP and SNAAF), who issued a joint statement on 21/04/2020, while the professional Ligue 1 Conforama and Domino's Ligue 2 championships have been suspended since 13/03/2020 due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, which has claimed nearly 20,800 lives in France as of 22/04/2020.

"In the face of this scourge, we are all trying to preserve the health of our employees and their jobs. Together, we want to preserve the 8,000 jobs within our clubs, which are based throughout France, and the 30,000 indirect jobs that depend on them," said the signatory bodies, which listed the gestures and sacrifices made by each of them in the statement that News Tank Football has reproduced in full below.
