LaLiga: TikTok (Douyin), "official social media partner" of the Spanish League in China

TikTok (Douyin in China), a Chinese social network, has become a regional partner of LaLiga in China and the "official social media partner" of LaLiga Santander "until March 2021," announced the Spanish body on 23/04/2020. This is the ninth regional partnership established by the League in 2019-20, and the third in China.

"As a result of this agreement, the first of its kind signed by a great football competition, LaLiga will increase the reach of its contents in the fastest growing social network in China and where it already has over a million followers. Douyin, for its part, allies with one of the leading brands in the world of sports worldwide and maintains its commitment to offer quality content of the Spanish championship and its clubs," said LaLiga.

Six of the 2019-20 LaLiga Santander clubs have an official account on the social network TikTok (see below) as of 23/04/2020. "Currently, LaLiga has over 22 profiles across 12 social networks, where it addresses its audience in more than 15 languages," said the body.
