American Football: St. Louis Rams (NFL) to offer $100,000 to fan able to predict their 2014 calendar

The St. Louis Rams (Missouri), a franchise in the NFL (National Football League, the American Football league) have offered $100,000 (€72,300) to any fan who can predict their 2014 calendar.

To win, entrants must guess the date, opponent and location of all 16 matches of the Rams season, including the bye week. If several people choose the right combination, a questionnaire would be used to break the tie. The probability of winning the game, according to the Business Insider website, is approximately 1 in 600,000 trillion.

Tens of thousands of participants have attempted to predict the Rams' match calendar between 17 and 21/04/2014, said the franchise. The three-hour announcement of the 2014 NFL schedule will be broadcast on the official channel of the league and on ESPN2, an American TV channel, during prime time on 24/04/2014.
