Covid-19/Premier League: Aston Villa makes its stadium available for maternity care

Aston Villa FC (Premier League) will make its Villa Park stadium (42,682 seats) available to the NHS (National Health Service in the United Kingdom) to make it a temporary maternity clinic, the club announced on 24/04/2020.

"From Monday 27/04/2020, ten maternity nurses will provide care services to pregnant women of at least 24 weeks and to new parents, Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 GMT, in the north gallery of Villa Park," stated the club near Birmingham (ENG).

Aston Villa is the fourth club in the English first division - after Burnley FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC and Watford FC - to offer its stadium to help medical staff in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19), which has already caused death more than 21,000 people in the UK as of 27/04/2020.
