The 85th edition of the NFL Draft, a major annual event that brings together the 32 franchises of the League to select new players, drew, in the United States, a record 55 million TV viewers on the NFL Network, the ESPN channels (pay-TV), ABC (free-TV), ESPN Deportes (pay-TV) and digital platforms, from 23 to 25/04/2020, announced the National Football League on 26/04/2020.

The event, which was "entirely virtual" because of the Covid-19 pandemic, attracted 8.4 million viewers on average over the three days, an increase of 35% compared to the 2019 draft.

"In addition, viewership for "NFL Draft-A-Thon LIVE," an online fundraising campaign hosted on NFL.com, averaged 5.4 million total daily viewers across multiple digital and social properties. Those viewers watched over 46.7 million total minutes of the online fundriaser. With the help of donations made during "NFL Draft-A-Thon Live," the NFL family has raised more than $100 million in COVID-19 relief," specified the North American football league.
