Covid-19/Serie A TIM: AC Milan Foundation joins the city's food aid programme

"After the first phase of fundraising which raised more than 600,000 euros for the benefit of Azienda Regionale Emergenza Urgenza (AREU, regional health agency) via a crowdfunding campaign on the GoFundMe platform (launched on 10/03 and closed on 24/04/2020), the AC Milan Foundation joins the food aid programme of the municipality of Milan (Lombardy, ITA) in order to bring food to families in need during this emergency period," announced AC Milan (Serie A TIM) on 24/04/2020.

This food aid programme is deployed in ten centres which distribute packages made up of food items in the different districts of Milan. "The objective is to provide concrete help to families in need, who often have several dependent minors," added AC Milan, which is launching an online donation area for this occasion, which has already drawn more than €46,000 in less than five days out of a total target of €100,000.
