The American VoD platform Netflix has been broadcasting "Matchday" a documentary series, created by Barça Studios, which follows the daily life of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) players in Canada and Latin America, since Wednesday 29/04/2020, announced the Catalan club on 29/04/2020.

The series consists of eight 45-minute episodes, each focusing on a key match of the 2018-19 season, and offers "unprecedented access to the first team's dressing room," said Barça.

"Matchday" has been available on Rakuten TV since 29/11/2019 in Japan and Europe. The video streaming service of the Japanese e-commerce group also holds the rights to broadcast the programme in Asia-Pacific (APAC) and the United States. FC Barcelona has rights in Latin America, Canada, Africa and the Middle East.

"The series is produced by Barça Studios, which now centralises all of FC Barcelona's creation, production and marketing of audiovisual content, and which is already working on the second season of the series," added FC Barcelona.
