Ligue 1: FC Nantes to hold a "heroes match" at the Beaujoire "as soon as the situation allows"

"FC Nantes (Ligue 1 Conforama) and its employees will organise, as soon as possible and when the situation allows it, a "heroes match" on the occasion of an official match at the Stade de La Beaujoire (35,550 capacity)," announced the club on 30/04/2020.

"The club will invite all the people on the front line of Covid-19, starting with the nursing staff. A way, with the support of all its supporters, to sincerely thank them for their work and dedication in the face of this health crisis," added FC Nantes.

Since the beginning of the health crisis linked to the Coronavirus pandemic, the Nantes (FRA) club has notably financed the purchase of medical equipment for nursing staff and has sold protective masks bearing the club's logo on its official online store, half of the profits of which will go to the "1 maillot pour la vie" ("1 shirt for life") association which helps sick children.
