Euro 2020: 19 cities apply for 13 places, semi-finals and final in London or Munich

19 cities in 19 different countries submitted applications before the 25/04/2014 deadline, to be part of the 13 that will host Euro 2020, announced UEFA (Union of European Football Associations), on 26/04/2014.

These 19 cities were Munich (Germany), London (England), Skopje (Macedonia), Baku (Azerbaijan), Minsk (Belarus), Brussels (Belgium), Sofia (Bulgaria), Copenhagen (Denmark), Glasgow (Scotland), Bilbao (Spain), Budapest (Hungary), Jerusalem (Israel), Rome (Italy), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Cardiff (Wales), Dublin (Ireland), Bucharest (Romania), St. Petersburg (Russia) and Stockholm (Sweden).

Among these cities, only two submitted bids to host the semifinals and finals: London and Munich.

The decision regarding the successful host cities will be made by the UEFA executive committee and should be announced on the 19/09/2014 in Geneva (SUI).
