LaLiga: Bundesliga which resumes on 16/05/2020 "very good news for European football"

"From LaLiga we want to congratulate the Bundesliga on the decision of its Government to restart the competition from the second half of this month of May, as well as other leagues that are also reactivating in Poland, Israel, Turkey, Croatia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Denmark and Portugal," announced the Spanish professional league on 06/05/2020.

"The Federal Chancellor (Angela Merkel) and the heads of government of the federal states consider the continuation of play in the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga to be justifiable for the 36 clubs eligible to start there at their expense from the second half of May. The safety precautions developed by the DFL (matches behind closed doors) must be taken into account," announced the German Chancellery following a conference call with regional leaders on 06/05/2020.
