Denmark: TV2 acquires TV rights to the Europa League (2021-2024) and LaLiga Santander (2021-2026)

The Norwegian free and pay-TV group TV2 has acquired the broadcasting rights for the Europa League and Europa Conference League in Denmark for the 2021-2024 cycle on 05/05/2020.

All matches will be broadcast via the streaming platform TV2 Sumo, as well as on the pay-TV channel TV2 Sports 1 while some matches may be broadcast on the free-TV channel TV2. The Norwegian group succeeds the American audiovisual group Discovery, whose Eurosport pay-TV channels are broadcasting the Europa League over the 2015-2021 cycle.

This announcement follows TV2's acquisition of LaLiga Santander TV rights for Denmark for the 2021-2024 cycle, on 22/04/2020, before the extension of these rights until 2025-26 on 05/05/2020. TV2 was broadcasting three LaLiga Santander games per Matchday before the suspension of competitions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. TV2 also extended its LaLiga Santander TV rights for Norway until 2025-26 on 07/05/2020.
