End of the 2019-20 season/Domino's Ligue 2: FC Lorient and RC Lens satisfied, Troyes vow to appeal

"It's now official. FC Lorient will return to the elite of French football three years after leaving it," announced the Breton club, who were named as the 2019-20 Domino's Ligue 2 champions after a decision of the LFP's board of directors on 30/04/2020.

FC Lorient, leaders after Matchday 28 of the championship (the last matchday before the suspension of the leagues, on 13/03/2020) with 54 points, will join Ligue 1 with RC Lens, 2^nd (53 points), which has just spent the last five seasons in Ligue 2: "Thank you to all those who in recent years have been the artisans of the structuring of Racing into a professional, ethical and demanding structure around Arnaud Pouille (CEO).
