Instagram: Top 100 European football clubs with the most followers (May 2020)

With 87.1 million followers, Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) is the most followed European club on Instagram, ahead of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander, 85.7 million) and Juventus FC (Serie A TIM, 39.3 million), according to data recorded by News Tank Football which offers a Top 100 of the most popular European clubs on this social network as of 01/05/2020.

The Premier League, the only league to have all of its clubs featured in the Top 100, is also the most represented in the Top 20 of this ranking with seven clubs, followed by the Serie A TIM, LaLiga Santander and Süper Lig (three clubs each). The Bundesliga has two representatives, while the Ligue 1 Conforama and Eredivisie have just one.

17 clubs in this Top 100 - including FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM) since April - have over 5 million followers, 30 have more than 1 million and 45 more than 500,000.
