SSC Napoli: 10 tonnes of food distributed to vulnerable people in the Campania (ITA) region

"In this period of emergency, through the Societa Sportiva Calcio Napoli (Serie A TIM) Charity project, the club is repeating a charity initiative in support of the most vulnerable sections of the population (in the Campania region), with the aim of ensuring the distribution of food," announced the club on 04/05/2020.

"The club has gathered a number of its sponsors, operating in the food (Garofalo, San Carlo, Mars, Gruppo di Palo, etc.) and beverage sector (notably Lete, main shirt sponsor of the club), around this project, who have contributed with significant donations of food products. A total of more than 10 tons of food products were collected, in addition to more than 32 tons of food products distributed during the Easter week," added SSC Napoli.

"In view of the large amount of food donated, the club has organised a logistical centre for the collection, preparation and distribution of parcels, assembled with long-term, non-perishable food products.
