Facebook: Top 100 European football clubs with the most likes (May 2020)

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) is the most followed European club on Facebook (111 million likes), ahead of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander, 103 million) and Manchester United FC (Premier League, 73 million), according to data collected by News Tank Football, which establishes the Top 100 most popular European clubs on this social network as of 01/05/2020.

With more than 490,000 additional likes, FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM), 12^th in this Top 100, posted the best increase in absolute value for the eighth time in the last nine months. Conversely, Manchester City FC (Premier League), 8^th, posted the biggest decrease (-63,353 likes). Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Conforama) posted the best percentage increase in number of likes during April 2020 (+2.7%).

The Premier League is the most represented league in the Top 20 of this ranking (seven clubs), followed by the Serie A TIM (four) and LaLiga Santander (three clubs).
