Wanda Sports Group: a turnover of €1.03bn, EBITDA of €167m and net loss of €273m in 2019

Wanda Sports Group has posted a turnover of €1.0301bn for the fiscal year 2019 and, "excluding the impact of reimbursement revenues", total revenues amounted to €996.6m, "an increase of 10% year-over-year," according to the subsidiary of the Chinese conglomerate Dalian Wanda Group (tourism, hotels, entertainment), on 30/04/2020.

"For the full year 2019, adjusted EBITDA was €167.4m ($187.9m). For the full year 2019, the loss for the period was €273.8m ($307.4m), respectively, mainly attributable to a non-cash goodwill impairment loss of €254.3m ($285.5m) for impairment of goodwill at The Ironman Group relating to its North America and Oceania cash-generating units. For fiscal 2019, the net loss was €273.8m ($307.4m).
