"There is an opportunity for eSports as more people are open to the concept while there is a lack of racing. We've always looked to position Zwift as something that compliments cycling in the outdoors, not something to replace it. There is the opportunity for cycling eSports to slot into the existing calendar, and that's something we've been looking at with the UCI," said Eric Min, co-founder and CEO of Zwift, to News Tank Football on 05/05/2020.

"Zwift is a social community of like-minded athletes and we've seen an 8x increase in the number of private MeetUps (races) taking place on the platform over the past few weeks, as people move their regular group rides or runs to the virtual space," continued the CEO of the application that already had 1.5 million users before the lockdown period.

"The 'Tour for All' is our biggest charity initiative to date. We have partnered with Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and have committed to donate a total of $250,000 (€230,000) to their response to Covid-19. The series is a team-based five-stage competition running from…
