OL Groupe: a record turnover of €265.7m for the first nine months of 2019-20

OL Groupe has posted a turnover of €265.7m for the first nine months of the financial year 2019-20 (from 01/07/2019 to 31/03/2020), a 19% increase versus the same period in 2018-19 (€223.8m), according to the holding company that owns Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Conforama) on 12/05/2020.

This growth is mainly due to the increase in proceeds from player transfers, which reached €90.6m, compared to €38.9m a year earlier (+133%). Over the period, OL transferred three French players to foreign clubs: Tanguy Ndombelé to Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League), Nabil Fékir to Real Betis Balompié (LaLiga Santander) and Lucas Tousart to Hertha BSC (Bundesliga). In the first nine months of the financial year, these transfers brought in €47.6m, €19.8m and €21.1m respectively.
