FIFA: 70^th Congress planned in Addis Ababa (ETH) postponed until 18/09/2020 and to be held online

"Following a thorough assessment of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent recommendations made by the FIFA-Confederations Covid-19 Working Group, the Bureau of the FIFA Council has taken the decision to hold the 70^th FIFA Congress, which was originally due to take place in Addis Ababa (ETH), as an online event on 18/09/2020," announced the Federation on 12/05/2020.

"Given the wish of FIFA to organise a Congress which all member associations are able to attend, the Bureau of the FIFA Council has decided to reschedule the 70^th FIFA Congress from Friday 05/06/2020 to Friday 18/09/2020 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia," announced the body previously on 11/03/2020.
