Neymar case: Barcelona committed no irregular activities according to Spanish LFP

The Spanish LFP (Professional Football League) exonerated FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) of committing any irregular activities during the transfer of Neymar, announced the club on 28/04/2014.

"FC Barcelona welcomes the resolution adopted by the budget control committee of the league on the absence of irregularity committed by FC Barcelona in the recruitment of the player, Neymar. The committee meeting was held on 23/04/2014 and the decision was made on 25/04/2014," said FC Barcelona.

The budget control committee of the LFP had requested additional information about FC Barcelona regarding the Neymar transfer in order to detect any irregularities in the transfer of the Brazilian player from Santos (Brazilian Serie A) in the off-season 2013.
