Serie A TIM: Lega Serie A counting on the Italian championship to resume on Saturday 13/06/2020

"As far as the resumption of sports activities is concerned, the date of (Saturday) 13/06/2020 for the resumption of the championship has been indicated (rather than 20/06/2020), in compliance with the decisions of the Government and in compliance with medical protocols for the protection of players and all those involved," announced the Lega Serie A at the end of its general assembly, which brought together the Serie A TIM clubs via videoconference on 13/03/2020.

The Italian professional league, which will have to receive the green light from Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte's government, aims to end the 2019-20 season on 02/08/2020 (124 matches to be played) to then leave room for the end of the 2019-20 European Cups, playing every three days with breaks only for the return leg semi-finals and the final of the Coppa Italia, which could be scheduled on 01 and 22/07/2020 respectively.
