Hungary: Lagardère Unlimited Stadium Solutions awarded management of Ferencvaros Budapest stadium

Lagardère Unlimited Stadium Solutions, the agency dedicated to stadium and sports arena management, owned by Lagardère Unlimited, obtained the management rights to Florian-Albert Stadium in Budapest, the home turf of Ferencvaros, on 24/04/2014.

The agreement, valid for a minimum period of ten years, ensures LUSS operation of the site until April 2024. The contract includes all management and marketing operations of the stadium, including naming rights and marketing of the Ferencvaros Torna club (champions of Hungary 28 times). The agency will work with a particular focus on ticketing, marketing hospitality services and events. LUSS aims to sell the naming rights of Florian-Albert stadium (named after the former player of Ferencvaros, Ballon d'Or 1967).

The venue, which opened in 1971, is currently under renovation. The stadium seats 23,800 and should be delivered in August 2014. The modernised stadium will be fully covered and have a Cisco WLAN system (Wireless Local Area Network).
