Bundesliga: Sky Deutschland offers an audio option with "recorded stadium atmosphere"

The Sky Sport pay-TV package from the operator Sky Deutschland will offer a new alternative audio option with "recorded stadium atmosphere" for the resumption of the 2019-20 Bundesliga in stadiums behind closed doors, scheduled for Saturday 16/05/2020.

In addition to this new selectable audio option, Sky Sport will broadcast up to two games per match in ultra high-definition (compared to only one previously), and will offer additional streams with written comments from fans integrated into the broadcast (under the supervision of a moderator). Another stream with audio fan comments will be available for the Ruhr derby between Borussia Dortmund and FC Schalke 04 (Saturday 16/05/2020 with a kick-off at 15:30 CET).

The group Sky Deutschland had already announced that it would broadcast the multiplex for Matchday 26 of the Bundesliga via free-to-air, on Saturday 16/05/2020 (kick-off at 15:30) on its sports news channel Sky Sport News (available free of charge via box offers from German telecom operators).
