AS Roma (Serie A TIM) and its "connection partner" Linkem, an Italian internet service provider, donated 55 digital tablets to disadvantaged young Romans, the club announced on 14/05/2020.

"On Thursday 14/05/2020, the Roma Cares Foundation, accompanied by the club mascot 'Romolo', distributed tablets to families selected by the Forum del Terzo Settore, a national charity organization," said the Roman club.

"Thanks to the 5G internet connections provided free of charge by Linkem, children will have the opportunity to continue school at a distance, and follow other children in their class or age group", added AS Rome, which multiplies its number of initiatives to deal with the health crisis (see below), which has caused the death of more than 31,000 people in Italy as of 18/05/2020.

  • Linkem has been a "premium partner" of AS Roma since January 2017.
