Belgium: 2019-20 championships stopped, Club Brugge KV champion and promotion play-off maintained

"According to the provisions of the (Belgian government's) ministerial decree of 08/05/2020, the general assembly of the Pro League has established that sports competitions are canceled until 31/07/2020. The general assembly voted to accept the classification of the Jupiler Pro League after 29 matchdays of the championship (out of 30 in the regular season) and the end of the competition is now considered to have been completed," announced the Belgian League on 15/05/2020. The 2020-21 championships will resume on the "weekend of 07/08/2020" for the Jupiler Pro League, and 21/08/2020 for the Division 1B.

Following this decision, Club Brugge KV is designated 2019-20 Jupiler Pro League champions (15 points ahead of KAA Gent), while the return match of the promotion play-off tie (Beerschot-Wilrijk - OH Leuven, 1-0 to Beerschot in the first leg on 08/03/2020) for promotion to the Belgian Pro League must be organized before the resumption of the 2020-21 championships.
