Belgium: Pro Ligue and MP & Silva launch tender for 2014-17 TV rights of championship

Pro League (a.k.a. Juliper Pro League, the Belgian professional football league) and the media rights agency MP & Silva, launched the tender for the domestic broadcasting rights from 2014 - 2017 for the league of the Belgian first division on 28/04/2014. "The consultation was finalised and validated by the Belgian competition authority. All interested parties may make offers," said the Belgian league on 25/04/2014.

Six lots are being offered to local broadcasters: Lots one and two for live and delayed matches of the Jupiler Pro League, lot three is dedicated to match summaries, lot four is dedicated to a Monday night review show, lots five and six are for the dissemination of match summaries online and via mobile media.

"The tender also includes the option to make an offer on the Pro League channel, which will be produced and delivered on a ready-to-use platform for anyone who buys a lot," said the Belgian League on 25/04/2014. Applicants must submit their applications before 15/05/2014.
