LaLiga: "We want to play every day of the week, from 11-12/06/2020" (Javier Tebas)

"We are hoping for a resumption from 11-12/06/2020. We are working to be ready, whatever the date. It will be the health authorities who will say when we restart," said Javier Tebas, President of LaLiga, on the Spanish channel Movistar, about the possible resumption of LaLiga Santander and LaLiga Smartbank, on 17/05/2020.

"We want to play every day of the week," said the LaLiga president, while the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) had banned matches from Monday in the 2019-20 season, a decision confirmed by the Spanish courts on 09/08/2019.

"We would have no problem playing the 11 matchdays left, and we can also play on Monday. The main reason (to stop the matches on Monday) was linked to the spectators, and we will not be able to have them (at the current moment)," added Javier Tebas. The RFEF has not yet (on 19/05/2020) reacted to this request for games on Mondays behind closed doors.
