Toulouse FC: exclusive negotiations with RedBird Capital Partners for the sale of 85% of the club

"Toulouse Football Club (Ligue 1 Conforama in 2019-20) and (the American group) RedBird Capital Partners have entered into a period of exclusive negotiations in order to finalize the sale of 85% of the club (to the latter)," announced Toulouse FC on 21/05/2020.

"I am convinced that RedBird Capital Partners has the necessary skills and resources to allow Toulouse Football Club to return to the elite of French football while respecting our values of citizenship and involvement in the local economic fabric," stated Olivier Sadran, president of the club.

"I have at heart to keep a minority stake, because I am from Toulouse by birth and as such, I feel responsible for Toulouse Football Club, which can always count on my passion and my support," added the owner of the club since 2001.
