France: LFP adopts Ligue 2 format at 22 clubs for 2020-21, Le Mans FC and US Orléans maintained

"In accordance with the decision of the board of directors of 30/04/2020, the general assembly of the LFP decided this Wednesday 20/05/2020 on the format of Ligue 2 for the 2020-21 season. After an electronic vote, it decided that the Ligue 2 Championship will be played with 22 clubs (instead of the usual 20) in the 2020-21 season," announced the French Professional Football League.
