Ligue 1: Olympique Lyonnais "welcomes the resumption of LaLiga" in June 2020

"Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Conforama) welcomes the decision by Pedro Sánchez, (Prime Minister of Spain), as his government authorized the resumption of La Liga from 08/06/2020," the French club stated on 23/05/2020.

"The week of (Monday) 08/06/2020, the resumption of major sporting and professional competitions, and in particular La Liga, will be authorized," declared Pedro Sánchez during a press conference on 23/05/2020, while LaLiga Santander has been suspended since 12/03/2020 and there are still 11 matchdays left to play.
