Ligue 1 Conforama: Kappa to succeed Nike as equipment supplier to FC Metz for 2020-2023

Kappa will again become the equipment supplier of FC Metz (Ligue 1 Conforama) for three seasons (2020-2023) from 2020-21, the club announced on 25/05/2020. "Kappa will quip all the teams: the professional men's and women's sections, of course, as well as all the young categories," specified the club. The Italian brand was the supplier of FC Metz during the 2006-2011 period.

Kappa thus succeeds Nike, the supplier to the Lorraine club for the 2011-2020 period. In addition to FC Metz, the American equipment supplier should also not extend its partnership with Stade Brestois 29, which will move to adidas from 2020-21, according to French media on 20/05/2020. Only Paris Saint-Germain, which extended its contract with Nike until the end of the 2031-32 season (amount estimated between €70m and €90m per season), and Montpellier HSC (2001-2026) would therefore be under contract with the "Swoosh" brand in 2020-21.
