Italy: official Lega Serie A account on Instagram exceeds 5 million followers

The official Lega Serie A account on Instagram has passed the 5 million followers mark, the Italian League announced on 26/05/2020.

"On Instagram, as on all the other platforms where it is present, the Lega Serie A tells the story of the Serie A TIM, the Italian Cup, the Italian Super Cup and the Primavera TIM competitions in 360°, from the sporting aspect to the human aspect, the stories, the legends, and the curiosities of all the protagonists who make our championship a unique event in the world," added the League, which has posted more than 550 content pieces and gained 1.5 million followers since August 2019.

At the European Top 5 leagues level, the Lega Serie A has fewer fans on Instagram than the Premier League (38.1 million followers), LaLiga (28.2 million, official account common to LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank) and the Bundesliga (5.6 million) on 28/05/2020. Ligue 1 Conforama has 2.2 million fans on this social network.
