Serie A TIM: to resume on 20/06/2020, "a message of hope for all of Italy" (G. Gravina, FIGC)

The 2019-20 Serie A TIM will restart on Saturday 20/06/2020, such is the decision announced by Vincenzo Spadafora, the Italian Minister of Sport, at the end of a meeting with the leaders of football (FIGC, Leagues, representatives of players, coaches and referees), and then an appointment with the Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, on 28/05/2020.

"I met with Giuseppe Conte who expressed his satisfaction for the unified solution found within the world of football," said the Minister of Sport.

"The restart of football is a message of hope for all of Italy. I am happy and satisfied, it is a success that I share with the Minister of Sport (Vincenzo) Spadafora and all the federal components," affirmed Gabriele Gravina, president of FIGC.

"Our project is very important because it involves everyone in Serie A, Serie B, Serie C and, we hope, also the Women's Serie A. We have to defend 100,000 employees, one and a half million licencees and 4.7 billion euros in turnover," added the head of the Italian football federation.
