2019-20 Premier League: BBC (4), Sky (64), BT (20) and Amazon (4) to broadcast remaining 92 games

The 92 matches remaining to be played for the end of the 2019-20 Premier League season (to resume on Wednesday 17/06/2020 behind closed doors) will be broadcast live in the United Kingdom by the holders of the broadcasting rights for the English championship for the 2019-2022 cycle:

• The BBC, which holds the rights to match summaries, will broadcast four games. It is the first time that the British public audiovisual group will broadcast Premier League matches live.
• The pay-TV operator Sky will broadcast 64 games, including 25 on its free-to-air channel Pick.
• The telecom operator BT will broadcast 20 games on its BT Sport pay-TV channels.
• Amazon will offer 4 games on its Prime Video OTT platform after having broadcast two full matchdays (20 games), including the Boxing Day matches, in December 2019.

The rights to 47 of these 92 games were already held by the pay broadcasters Sky Sport and BT Sport. The other 45 were not allocated due to blackout TV (ban on broadcasting live matches on Saturdays between 14:45 and 17:15 local time). The English Football Association had…
