Spain: RFEF Strategic Plan 2020-2024

To place the Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol "within a five-year period (2020-2024) among the three reference federations in Europe in terms of sports results, organisation of competitions, corporate management and social impact" is the objective of the first RFEF Strategic Plan published on 28/05/2020 (document available to download, see below).

"The fruit of 10 months' work with UEFA and the territorial federations, the Plan defines 8 strategic objectives, 4 of them common with all the territorial federations and another 4 specific for the RFEF, which in total include 50 specific objectives," said the Spanish Federation.

Strategic objectives shared with the territorial federations are to:
• Promote good governance.
• Achieve sporting excellence.
• Increase participation, especially in women's football.
• Carry out a digital transformation.

Specific strategic objectives for the Spanish Federation include:
• Strengthening image and international impact.
• Optimizing internal resources.
• Improve self-financing.
• Contributing to social development through football.
